Advantages of Permanent Life insurance As We Age

Advantages Of Permanent Life Insurance For Older People

When we are young, it seems obvious to purchase term life insurance. Because it is almost always much cheaper, it is easier to budget for a large face value. This large face value can cover a lot. Long Term Care Insurance Questions To Ask

Many people wonder if they should purchase long term care insurance  (LTCi) as a part of their retirement planning. There is no doubt that long term nursing care costs a lot of money. Better Medicare Prescription Plans For You

Medicare Part D Plan Cautions

We have seen Part D plans with premiums under $15.00. Others may be two to three times that much. Nobody will say that cheaper is better or more expensive is better. That is not the point.

What is the point? You need to compare the overall cost of the plan, which includes your out of pocket copayments, deductibles, and “donut holes” in order to figure out which plan will save you money in the long run.  Out of pocket costs, with some plans, may be a much bigger concern than the fact the monthly premium is about $15.00, $25.00, or $35.00!
